Earlier reports that Canadian MMA fighter David Loiseau would be on UFC 113’s undercard as a replacement for Nick Catone in the event’s preliminary card turned out to be false, at least partially.

Loiseau was in fact scheduled to replace Nick Catone at UFC 113. However, the Montreal-based fighter has not been granted a fighting license from the local athletic and gaming commission (RACJQ). No specific details have been publicly released yet.

Jason McDonald will instead replace Loiseau at UFC 113. McDonald will take on John Salter in one of UFC 113’s preliminary matches. McDonald is a 34 year old fighter from New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. He will be fighting out of team Xtreme Couture.

Many fans believe Shogun was completely robbed of the light heavyweight championship title at UFC 104. The Machida vs Shogun rematch has been in the works now for months and the fight is less than 2 weeks away.

Shogun is stepping back in the octagon, and this time no controversial decision will separate him from his goal: the UFC’s light heavyweight championship belt.
